We’ve all heard it from advertisements, our friends, our idols….the phrase “Skater Owned.” While some throw it around a bit too often, Matt and I have been of the school of thought of letting our actions speak for us.. not to say that we are the best businessmen, or that we updated our website constantly with content and products, shoot, why should we, our store has enough content to blow any online only shop out of the water. But we skate (collectively) everyday. We pride ourselves on our connection with our local scene, and we do the best we can to provide for that scene. We sponsor mostly local talent, support those who support us to the fullest. Local, local, local. Support your local skate shop and scene, you’ll only get as much back as you put in, like anything else, it’s a relationship, and if you want it to flourish, you need to take care of it. So thank you to all those who have had our back since the beginning, and a huge welcome to all those future SDSFers. Seeing as we love our shop as much as our riders and customers do, I offer this new phrase to throw around at your convenience, Skater Supported.
